Finish unpacking and enjoy the new home
I isn’t that I want to do this as much as I need to do this. Well, I need to help my wife do this so that she does not end up unpacking everything.
Wait… she will not unpack everything. She will unpack her stuff and mine will still be in boxes. :)
Seriously, we just got hot water recently after being in the house two weeks. We can finally start enjoying it now. Unpacking is just a part of that process.

You're probably really tired of making decisions... where to put everything. Hope you both get enough time to enjoy the process too :)
Now that you are as far as you are, let me tell you how you should have done it. :) Brought ALL your furniture in the house, and placed it where you wanted it - and then brought stuff in box by box, unpack, put away, and put box in basement - and do it until all is clean. You don't have to walk around all the stuff you're going to be months unpacking. :)
I can say this because I'm MOM. :)
